What is litigation?

In the simplest terms, litigation is the process of taking a dispute to a court of law. This is the most common and widely used procedure for solving disputes in the UAE. The Litigation law in the UAE covers mainly the Federal Law No. 11 of 1992 and its different amendments, termed the "civil procedural law of the UAE", which controls the procedures, methods, and jurisdictions regarding all civil, commercial, and personal status lawsuits in the country.
